How Does It Work?

Dotfiles are configuration files for various programs and tools on your computer. They typically start with a dot (.) and control settings for your shell, editor, terminal, and other development tools.

Each showcase includes installation instructions. Generally, you extract the zip file and follow the provided setup guide. Most configurations include a setup script or detailed manual instructions.

Payments are not live yet. Stripe checkout is planned and will support major cards once enabled.

Forever! Once you purchase a showcase, you can re-download it anytime from your purchases page. Download links are generated on-demand and remain valid for 24 hours.

Due to the digital nature of our products, we generally do not offer refunds. However, if you experience technical issues, please contact support and we will work to resolve the problem.

Any registered user can create showcases today. Seller onboarding and paid sales are visible in the UI but will stay in coming-soon mode until payments are enabled.

Showcases are uploaded as zip files containing your dotfiles. Images should be PNG, JPG, or WebP format. Maximum file sizes are 50MB for zip files and 10MB per image.

You can edit your showcase at any time from your dashboard. Update descriptions, add new images, or upload new file versions. Previous buyers will have access to the updated files.
